This week’s focus will be on birds and how feathers determine this species of classified Aves. All birds have feathers. Soft down feathers keep birds warm, wing feathers allow for flight, and tail feathers help with steering. Our book readings and video clips will include All about Birds for Children, 10 Hooting Owls, In My Nest, and There Is a Bird on Your Head!
